Meet the summer in Hagfors! Hotell Monica is situated next to the nature. Only a few hundred meters you’ll find the river Uvån where you can have a swim on a hot summer day.
In Hagfors you’ll find lots of summer activities. You can glide in a canoe on a crystal clear lake or experience our nature from the horse back. Come along on a safari and search for the king of the forest, or why not see the moose from front row in the only moose park in Värmland? We also have a railway museum with a trolley track from Hagfors to Uddeholm.

The best ways to come close to nature is by hiking or biking. In Hagfors municipality there are loads of paths and tracks; short or long, easy or a little bit more challenging – here, there is something for everyone.
Summer is the perfect time for excursions and adventures. Pack your basket with local delicacies, pick a place that speaks to you and dig in when hunger reveals itself. Because everything tastes just a little bit better under a clear blue sky, right?
